  Terms & Conditions

The following terms and conditions are an integral part of your contract with Cool Breeze Charters Ltd. They are partly designed to ensure that you, the customer, are given a guide and made aware of the procedures regarding boat charter.

As safety is so important to us, we must allow the Skipper to use his best judgement whilst the boat is at sea or on the river. The Skipper will do his utmost to meet your high expectations and give you an excellent trip. The Skipper will run through a brief safety talk prior to the boat departing and ensure that everyone on board is familiar with the safety procedures.

We cannot control the weather and although there are a many days on the North East coast that will give strong winds and rain, our staff are constantly monitoring the weather and if required will be able to give notice to you on any adverse weather conditions that may affect your Charter. Generally the river trips will be unaffected by poor weather. Our main aim is always to give an excellent service to all our clients.


1. Our terms and conditions are an intrinsic part of this sale. The purchaser is by buying our products and services fully accepting our terms and conditions which supersede all other terms and conditions, which may be presented by the purchaser.
2. No variation or amendment to these terms and conditions shall be made unless agreed to in writing by an authorised Director of Cool Breeze Charters Ltd.
3. A contract shall only be created when the Company has accepted, via an authorised Company representative either verbal or written instructions.
4. Any and all contracts between our Company and customers shall be subject to and governed by English Law.


1. For bookings within 30 days of the charter, full payment will be required at the time of booking.
2. For bookings more than 30 days in advance a 50% deposit will be required with the balance due 30 days prior to the charter.
3. An additional charge of 2.5% will be made to all Credit Card transactions; however, no additional charge will be made if the booking is paid by a Debit Card.
4. For Corporate Charters a deposit of 25% will be required at the time of booking. 30 days prior to the charter Cool Breeze Charters Ltd will issue an invoice for the balance remaining. We then require cleared funds 3 days before the charter. We can accept Company Cheque, Credit Card or BACS transfer.


1. We reserve the right to cancel any charter due to adverse weather conditions or circumstances beyond our control. In such cases we will offer alternative dates.
2. If you the Customer should wish to cancel the charter, notice will be required in writing or via e-mail, this will be required at least 7 days before the charter. On receipt of this Cool Breeze Charters Ltd will confirm the cancellation in writing and enclose a cheque for 75% of the booking fee paid.
3. If you should wish to cancel less than 7 days before the charter, then any refund which may be offered will be at the discretion of the Company.
